Ruth Olaoyenikan is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice of Royal Heritage Solicitors. She has extensive experience in international arbitration and complex commercial litigation. Her work focuses on representing and advising clients in high-stakes disputes involving contractual, regulatory, and cross-border issues.

Before joining Royal Heritage Solicitors, Ruth served as Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, the Netherlands where she supported arbitral tribunals in investor-State and commercial arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Rules. She participated in tribunal deliberations, prepared procedural orders, and conducted legal analysis on jurisdictional and procedural issues.

Her prior experience includes advising multinational and domestic clients at leading Nigerian firms. She has acted in matters involving maritime and trade sectors.

Ruth holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town, where she specialized in International Commercial Arbitration, International Trade Law, and Maritime Law. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and an active member of several international professional bodies, including Young ICCA, YIAG-LCIA, and the International Law Association (Nigerian Branch).
